BuyerDog approved, but NOISYI bought two of these beds for my aging dogs (45lb Shepherd and 35lb Border Collie). I bought the medium and large, and let me tell you, the large is LARGE. If your dog is only 50lbs or less, the medium will be big enough. The large takes up quite a bit more room, so if your dog's spot is already a little crowded, go with the smaller choice. Both dogs like the beds (the Collie does tend to still prefer sleeping on the floor half the time), but they are NOISY. I've had the beds for about 6 months, and they creak so loudly when the dog is laying on it that it wakes us up in the next room. They only made slight sounds when we first got them, but it's becoming unbearable to keep near our bedroom now.
